Holm CC cancels 26 March meeting.
Holm Community Council
The
next meeting of Holm Community Council due to take place on 26 March
has been cancelled. In these unprecedented times we are not sure yet
when we will next be able to meet. But these strange days do not mean we cease to be “Community”.
As what we consider to be “normal life” over the few days and weeks
will undoubtedly change, we will be looking to share with you relevant
and helpful local information.
If there are things you think your Community Council could or should be doing, we’d like to hear from you.
In the immediate future over next few days we are encouraging all to be looking out for vulnerable neighbours in our community. Many will have fears and anxieties, made much worse by a need for self isolation. Could you be taking the time to lift the phone to a neighbour? Could you be checking up or offering to collect groceries or other essentials, bearing in mind the precautions we all need to take?
As further guidance and ideas are issued we’ll try to post about that here. But for now, please stay safe and don’t forget to still keep washing your hands!
